Phase is an interactive music game that lets you choose songs from your iTunes library and creates gameplay information for these songs. Click and slide the iPod's Click Wheel along with the rhythm of the music to catch notes and flowing sweeps to earn points and stars.

When you purchase and download Phase from the iTunes Store, iTunes automatically creates a Phase Music playlist. To play Phase with music from your iTunes library you must follow these steps:

IF YOU AUTO SYNC CONTENT

* Add the songs you want to play in Phase to this playlist. iTunes will then automatically create the gameplay information for these songs.
* Next, automatically sync the Phase Music Playlist and the Phase game to your iPod.
* The next time you open the Phase game, you can select any one of these songs as a unique musical challenge.

IF YOU MANUALLY SYNC CONTENT

* Add the songs you want to play in Phase to this playlist on the iPod. iTunes will then automatically create the gameplay information for these songs.

* The next time you open the Phase game, you can select any one of these songs as a unique musical challenge.

Note: If the Phase Music playlist is missing or deleted, make sure you have iTunes 7.5 (or later) installed. If you have the latest version of iTunes, remove the game from the iPod and then resync it. Follow these steps to get the Phase Music playlist back:

* Select the iPod on the left side of the iTunes window under Devices.
* Click Games.
* Click Selected games and then select all of the games you want to keep on the iPod, except for Phase.
* Click Sync.
* After the sync is complete, either click Phase in the Selected games list or select All games.
* Click Sync.

The Phase Music playlist should now appear on the iPod.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

* iTunes 7.5 or later
* iPod classic, iPod nano (3rd generation), or iPod (5th generation)
